An extension of Loot Crate to provide products that could not fit our existing subscription’s price point. Our Looters have been very vocal about requesting higher value items; Loot Crate Premium is how we will be delivering on their feedback.

Loot Crate is a subscription box service for gamers, geeks and fans of pop culture featuring items such as collectibles, t-shirts, comics, art, gadgets and more. Loot Crate Premium takes the Loot Crate concept up a notch and features higher-end collectibles, wearables and useful items. Our Looters have requested higher value items; we’re excited to be able to satisfy those requests.

Loot Crate Collector (Loot Crate Collector’s Edition/Loot Crate CE)

The Collector is interested in quality over quantity and wants figures and art to display, truly usable items and premium wearables. The Collector is just a little more serious about “their stuff.” This sets the crate apart from Loot Crate original without disparaging it. The two crates are simply different, and catering to different types of people.

Loot Crate Premier

First, the highest level, the most important. This is what Loot Crates aspire to be when they grow up. A little bit fancy sounding, but that’s a good thing.

Loot Crate Expert

Similar to Collector, Loot Crate Expert is emphasizing quality, but also knowledge--they know what they like and they’re willing to invest a little more in it.

Loot Crate Limited

Acknowledging that the market for a premium version of Loot Crate will be smaller, more exclusive, elite, but stopping short of coming out and saying “elite.” Might actually want to number and limit this crate, to make it more exclusive. Might want to do that with any premium crate.

Loot Crate SE, Loot Crate EX, Loot Crate XL, Loot Crate DX, Loot DLX

Using letters that may or may not stand for something (Special Edition, Extra, Extra Large, Deluxe...or not) puts less of a value judgment on the original crate. But, people are used to seeing these types of letters in games and know that it means it’s somewhat more, so they’ll understand why it costs more.

Loot Crate S (Loot Crate S-Rank)

In many games, the rank of “S” is higher than the rank of “A.” It’s the level above great, essentially. Making the original Loot Crate great, and this one just one rank higher.

Loot Crate Max

Taking Loot Crate to its maximum level--premium items, fancier wearables, no fluff. Max also sounds a little aggressive, a little sporty, a little extra.

Loot Crate Edge

Edge can be taken two ways: this crate will give you the edge over your friends as far as acquiring amazing pop culture items; and this crate will take you to the edge of pop culture fandom. Edgy.

This does announce that it’s a higher level than Loot Crate original, but maybe that’s what we should do after all. It’s being honest and gives the full picture as far as the items being higher-end, which explains the higher price.
