Nintendo Power writers often helped The Treehouse (Nintendo's localization group) and Nintendo's marketing group with other stuff, like brainstorming names for in-game items, titles, box copy, tag lines, press releases and the like. That is how I ended up naming Luigi's vacuum weapon The Poltergust 3000.
